Rank 8 Deaths in 2026 printed index 100.0 and volume 4,432,210. 22 of the 25 board labels returned HTTP 404 no_data. 7D and 1W collapse on this monthly grain. Mixing the two strings is a 400.

The September 9, 2026 board is the split that still matters next month: live rank is not a volume ranking of last month's wikipedia series, and most board labels have no keyword series at all. The inverse fold exists on the feed name. type wikipedia trending on get_top_trends returned HTTP 200 and echoed type Wikipedia Trending, with the same 25 titles as the canonical label and as_of_ts 2026-09-09T06:01:35.725723+00:00. llms.txt still describes feed labels as case-sensitive. The live handler accepted this lowercase Wikipedia string on September 9, 2026. Prefer the canonical Wikipedia Trending spelling in stored configs.

get_time_series on wikipedia, google search returned invalid_source too, with the 16 names and no all. Multi-source strings belong on get_growth only.

REST omitting type is a different 400. POST https://api.trendsmcp.ai/api with mode get_top_trends and limit 5, no type, returned HTTP 200 with envelope statusCode 400, error invalid_request, message The 'type' parameter is required, then the same 24-name list. llms.txt still names that miss missing_parameter. Read statusCode inside the JSON, not only the HTTP line.

country GB with limit 5 on Wikipedia Trending returned HTTP 400, error invalid_request, message that country is only supported for Google Trends, Google Trends by Category, TikTok Trending Hashtags, TikTok Trending Hashtags by Category, X (Twitter) Trending, and YouTube Trending. Wikipedia Trending is not on that list. Omit country on this feed.

Omit percent_growth defaults to 12M on a monthly series

Omit percent_growth on Deaths in 2026 and REST returned period 12M, recent_date 2026-08-01, baseline_date 2025-08-01, index 100.0 versus 0.0, growth 999999.0, volume 4,432,210 from 44, volume_growth +10,073,104.55%. The default window is 12M. That default ran. The printed percent is the pipeline's answer to a zero index, not a demand figure to put in a forecast. Quote volume_growth when the index baseline is zero.

7D, 1W, and 14D failed with collapsed_range on Holmes, Deaths in 2026, and September 11 attacks. Recent and baseline resolved to the same monthly point. llms.txt still lists 7D among standard growth windows. That window needs denser points than this source had on this pull.
