get_top_trends pagination on Trends MCP is limit plus offset on one feed type. From the August 25, 2026 pull, Google Trends, Wikipedia Trending, and Spotify Top Podcasts each returned 200 rows at limit 200, then count 0 at offset 200. IMDb MOVIEmeter and App Store Top Free capped at 100 even when limit was 200. YouTube Trending returned 199. Steam Most Played, GitHub Trending Repos, and Reddit Hot Posts returned 25 and empty pages at offset 25. App Store rank 26 was TikTok - Videos, Shop & LIVE, invisible at the default limit of 25. Counter-Strike 2 on steam printed 1,420,896 peak players on 2026-07-01. Free tier access is 100 requests per month.

What get_top_trends pagination data shows right now

From the Trends MCP scan of August 25, 2026, raising get_top_trends limit from the default 25 to 200 changed the returned count by feed: 200 for Google Trends, Wikipedia Trending, and Spotify Top Podcasts; 100 for IMDb MOVIEmeter and App Store Top Free; 199 for YouTube Trending; 25 for Steam Most Played.

Steam volume is peak players. Counter-Strike 2 at Steam rank 1 carried 1,420,896 peak players on 2026-07-01 across 169 monthly points. Exact offset and limit calls

One get_top_trends call takes a single type. Set limit up to 200 and offset to skip rows already seen. On August 25, 2026 a Google Trends call with limit 200 and offset 0 returned ranks 1 through 200 at as_of 2026-08-25T02:01:58 UTC. Offset 200 then returned count 0.

IMDb offset 75 returned ranks 76 through 100, ending at The High and the Mighty (1954). Offset 100 returned data: [] and count 0. A limit 50 call on IMDb returned the same ranks 1-50 as offset 0 plus offset 25 concatenated. Prefer one limit 200 call when the feed supports it; paging 25 at a time costs extra units. Feeds that stop at 25 versus 100 versus 200

Feed length is not documented as a single number. IMDb advertised as Top 100 returned count 100 at limit 200. Steam Most Played, GitHub Trending Repos, and Reddit Hot Posts returned count 0 at offset 25. YouTube stopped at 199 rather than 200.

Steam limit 10 returned Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, FiveM, Bongo Cat, Palworld, Marvel Rivals, How to Fish, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, and EA SPORTS FC 26. Limit 25 added Rust through Terraria at rank 25. Offset 25 was empty. GitHub Trending Repos offset 25 was empty on the same 02:01:58 stamp.

Wikipedia Trending filled 200 rows, so Zendaya at rank 36, Tom Holland at 45, ChatGPT at 49, and Anne Hathaway at 61 are missing from any default 25-row sample. Spotify Top Podcasts filled 200, with The Joe Rogan Experience at rank 2, Crime Junkie at 3, Huberman Lab at 28, and Lex Fridman Podcast at 99. Offset 50 still returned 25 rows (ranks 51-75). Why default limit 25 hides TikTok on the App Store

App Store Top Free rank 1 was ChatGPT and rank 26 was TikTok - Videos, Shop & LIVE. Default limit 25 therefore omits the main TikTok iOS app while including TikTok Pro - Events at rank 5. Android follow-up on com.openai.chatgpt printed 4,975,458 estimated downloads on 2026-08-24.

Instagram sat at 29, Facebook at 31, YouTube at 41, Reddit at 62, Google Docs at 80, Netflix at 71, and Duolingo at 77. None of those appear in a default 25-row pull. ChatGPT at rank 1 is the iOS chart label; the Android series for com.openai.chatgpt fell 48.89% over 7D from 13.5 / 9,825,168 on 2026-08-16 to 6.9 / 4,975,458 on 2026-08-24, then 18.82% over 30D from 8.5 / 6,149,476 on 2026-07-24. When labels repeat and as_of lags

Google Trends listed jake lang at rank 44 and again at rank 130 on the same 200-row stamp. Amazon Best Sellers Top Rated lagged to 2026-08-24T04:01:39 UTC and duplicated listing titles at ranks 10 and 11. Reddit Hot Posts used a different as_of than the 02:01:58 cluster.

jake lang Google Search sat at 19.0 on 2026-08-22, up 280.0% from 5.0, and Wikipedia had Jake Lang at rank 18. A unique-token join on the 200-row Google board is therefore 199 names, not 200. Amazon ranks 10 and 11 were both "blink plus plan with monthly auto-renewal". Offset 25 on Amazon still worked (Stanley tumbler at 26 and 27, a second duplicate pair) on that lagged stamp.

Reddit Hot Posts offset 25 returned count 0 with as_of 2026-08-25T00:01:40 UTC, two hours earlier than Google, Wikipedia, IMDb, App Store, Spotify, Steam, YouTube, and GitHub on 2026-08-25T02:01:58 UTC. Pricing for paginated board pulls

Each get_top_trends call is billed per type and per page, so limit 200 at offset 0 is one unit while eight pages of limit 25 would be eight units. Free covers 100 requests per month. Starter is $19 for 1,000 requests.

Pro is $49 for 5,000. Business is $199 for 25,000. Annual billing saves 20%. Check current pricing on the site before budgeting. A daily job that pulls Google Trends, Wikipedia Trending, IMDb, and App Store at limit 200 uses 4 requests and still sees TikTok at App Store rank 26. Paging those four feeds 25 rows at a time would be 4 times 4 pages on the 100-row feeds plus 8 pages on the 200-row feeds, a much larger bill for the same rows. Extra percent_growth windows inside one get_growth call still count as a single request.
