How demand splits show up in practice

A skincare SKU might show steady Amazon search lift while Google Search stays flat: shoppers already treat the marketplace as the starting point. Another category might show YouTube growth weeks ahead of Amazon, which hints that demo-heavy language belongs in the title or A+ content. The point is to read divergence instead of averaging everything into one vague popularity score.

A lightweight workflow for catalog teams

  1. Map each priority SKU to two or three non-branded phrases shoppers use.
  2. Call get_growth on those phrases across amazon, google shopping, and google search with 30D and 3M windows.
  3. Promote phrases with positive growth into titles, bullets, and backend fields; demote phrases with negative 3M growth unless margin data says otherwise.
