Ubersuggest pricing on 27 August 2026 is advertised at $29 to $99 per month on the comparison strip at app.neilpatel.com/en/pricing. The table under that strip has three unlabeled columns: 1, 7, or 15 domains, with the middle column marked Popular. Neil Patel's own blog, updated 8 July 2026, still names those tiers Individual ($29), Business ($49), and Enterprise/Agency ($99). A lifetime one-time payment exists; the live FAQ confirms it, and the July blog prints $290 / $490 / $990. The live table does not reprint those lifetime dollars. Trends MCP does a different job: live Google, TikTok, Reddit, Amazon, and other demand series over MCP plus REST, from $0 for 100 requests a month. Buy Ubersuggest for keyword SEO inside a dashboard. Buy Trends MCP when an agent needs multi-source trend data without an SEO suite bill.
What do the three live columns actually cost?
The comparison strip is the only public dollar range on the pricing page fetched 27 August 2026. It prints Ubersuggest at $29 to $99, then Semrush at $139 to $499, Ahrefs at $129 to $449, and Moz at $49 to $299. Those competitor spans are Ubersuggest's marketing, not the other vendors' live cards. Official Semrush pricing the same day starts at $139 monthly ($117.33 billed annually) for SEO and runs to $549 monthly ($455.67 annually) for Advanced. Official Ahrefs Lite is $129 per month, Advanced $449, with Starter at $29 and Enterprise at $1,499 per month on an annual commitment. Cite the strip as the strip. Check checkout for the number that will actually charge.
The three columns share the same feature list and differ on quotas. The live grid, accessed 27 August 2026:
| Limit | 1-domain column | 7-domain column (Popular) | 15-domain column |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reports per day | 150 | 300 | 900 |
| Domains (projects) | 1 | 7 | 15 |
| Chrome extension searches | 150 | 300 | 900 |
| Rank tracking | 125 / project / weekly | 150 / project / weekly | 300 / project / weekly |
| Tracked locations | 20 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Site audit | 1,000 pages / weekly | 5,000 pages / weekly | 10,000 pages / weekly |
| Keyword suggestions | 20,000 / month | 50,000 / month | 100,000 / month |
| Content ideas | 2,000 | 5,000 | 10,000 |
| Competitors | 5 | 10 | 15 |
| Backlinks rows | 2,000 | 5,000 | 10,000 |
| AI Search Visibility | 10 / project / monthly | 15 / project / biweekly | 20 / project / weekly |
| AI prompt ideas per search | 25 | 50 | 75 |
| Monthly credits | 250 | 500 | 1,000 |
| Export rows per report | 2,000 | 5,000 | 10,000 |
| Bulk analysis keywords | 50 | 200 | 1,000 |
Site audit crawl frequency is weekly on all three columns. Link history is 3 years. New and lost links sit at 30 days. AI Chat and SEO training (course, templates, email support) are marked included. The page claims 20 hours of course video and "Trusted by over 250,000 users," with a Trustpilot block of 541+ reviews.
Add-ons print as +$5 per month each. The add-on list on that fetch: additional 500 daily searches; additional domains (includes 125 keywords and 3 competitors); additional 250 tracked keywords; additional competitor domains; additional users; additional 5 AI prompts; additional 500 monthly credits. A custom-plan CTA sits above the table. Payments: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, UnionPay, and PayPal. Monthly billing has no contract. Invoices under a company name go through [email protected].
Which limits hit first on the cheapest column?
Daily report and Chrome-extension caps (150) are the first ceiling for anyone clicking around keyword ideas all day. Rank tracking at 125 keywords per project, once a week, is the second. Ahrefs Lite, fetched the same day, tracks 750 keywords weekly. Semrush SEO tracks 500 daily. Ubersuggest wins on sticker price, not on tracker volume.
One domain is a solo-site plan. A second property is either an add-on domain at +$5 or a jump to the 7-domain column. Extra users are also +$5 each, with no user count printed on the three columns themselves. Neil Patel's July 2026 blog assigns 1 / 2 / 5 users to Individual / Business / Enterprise. The live table does not reprint those seat numbers. Do not treat the blog's seat counts as the live grid.
AI Search Visibility on the cheap column refreshes monthly (10 prompts per project). The Popular column is biweekly (15). The 15-domain column is weekly (20). That cadence is the quiet split for buyers who opened Ubersuggest for AI-overview tracking rather than classic ranks. Keyword research on the cheap column is 20,000 suggestions per month, with 25 AI prompt ideas per search and 250 monthly credits. Site audit is 1,000 pages per weekly crawl. Backlinks stop at 2,000 rows with a 3-year history window.
Google sign-in is required, per the FAQ, so Ubersuggest can read Google Search Console. That is a product choice, not a price line, but it is the reason a Google account sits in front of the trial.
Does Ubersuggest still sell lifetime access?
Yes. The live FAQ, accessed 27 August 2026, says a lifetime plan is a one-time payment for lifetime access, with no contracts on the monthly option. Lifetime purchases are final and non-refundable. Monthly subscriptions get a one-time 7-day free trial. The FAQ tells buyers to use that trial before picking lifetime.
The same page opens with a countdown banner: "Save 90% off with lifetime access. Offer ends soon!" The banner does not print a dollar amount. Neil Patel's Affordable SEO Software post, updated 8 July 2026, still prints Individual $290, Business $490, and Enterprise/Agency $990 as the lifetime SKUs, and $29 / $49 / $99 as the monthly names. The live comparison table does not show those lifetime dollars next to the three columns. Treat $290 / $490 / $990 as the July blog's print, then confirm at checkout. Geolocated pricing is documented on Ubersuggest's help center; the live cards can move by region. The fetch for this post used the English pricing URL.
Cancel or downgrade to a free account is allowed at any time, per that FAQ. The pricing page does not print a free-tier search quota in the comparison grid.
Why the pricing FAQ says no API while MCP is live
The pricing FAQ still answers "Can I get API access?" with: there are no API access plans available at the moment. That sentence was live on 27 August 2026.
The same vendor ships an official MCP server. app.neilpatel.com/en/mcp, fetched the same day, advertises 42 SEO tools in 8 categories: Domain Analysis (8), Keyword Research (7), Backlinks (5), Site Audit (5), AI Brand Visibility (3), Content (3), Projects (7), Utilities (4). 8+7+5+5+3+3+7+4 = 42. A Neil Patel blog titled "Ubersuggest MCP Connector" still says "over 37" tools. Cite both. Do not flatten to one integer.
Auth on that MCP page is OAuth 2.0 against an Ubersuggest account. A footer note says some tools (Projects and Site Audit) need an active account. Compatible clients listed: Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, and "any MCP-compatible client." The page's JavaScript (chunk fetched 27 August 2026) hardcodes the server URL and the Cursor JSON:
{
"mcpServers": {
"ubersuggest": {
"url": "https://ubersuggest-mcp.neilpatelapi.com/mcp"
}
}
}
Cursor steps on that page: Settings, MCP, add that URL. Claude Code's documented add:
claude mcp add ubersuggest \
--transport http \
https://ubersuggest-mcp.neilpatelapi.com/mcp
Claude.ai has an official connector directory listing at https://claude.ai/directory/connectors/ubersuggest-by-neil-patel. Codex's documented add, from the same JavaScript chunk:
codex mcp add Ubersuggest --url https://ubersuggest-mcp.neilpatelapi.com/mcp
A POST to the MCP path on 27 August 2026 returned {"error":"invalid_token","error_description":"Missing Authorization header"} without a token, which matches an authenticated MCP, not an open REST catalog.
That is the split: MCP is a first-party product with a public URL and a 42-tool marketing page. REST API SKUs are still "none" on the pricing FAQ. Buyers who need a documented REST POST with a Bearer key will not find one on those two pages.
A separate ChatGPT app post (24 July 2026, updated 3 August 2026) says Ubersuggest is an official ChatGPT app for keyword research, on any plan including free. That app is not a public REST price list.
How the Semrush and Ahrefs ranges on that page compare
Ubersuggest's strip is a sales argument: $29 to $99 versus Semrush $139 to $499 and Ahrefs $129 to $449. Official cards the same day do not match those spans exactly.
Semrush SEO is $139 monthly or $117.33 annually, 5 websites, 500 daily keywords. MCP access prints on Starter ($199 monthly / $165.17 annually), not on SEO. Advanced is $549 monthly / $455.67 annually. Extra users start at $45 per month. The FAQ on that page still asks about Guru versus Pro against live SEO / Starter / Pro+ / Advanced names.
Ahrefs Lite is $129 per month (5 projects, 750 tracked keywords, 100,000 crawl credits). MCP Server is on the Lite / Standard / Advanced / Enterprise comparison, with max rows per request 100 / 250 / 500 / unlimited. Starter is $29. Enterprise is $1,499 per month with an annual commitment. Brand Radar AI starts from $199 per month; the live card prints 475M+ organic prompts.
SE Ranking Core, fetched earlier the same day, is $129 monthly or $103.20 annually, with MCP printed on the Core card. Moz's own ladder is a separate post. Ubersuggest undercuts those SEO suites on the advertised monthly floor. It does not match their keyword-tracker or crawl volumes, and it still has no REST SKU on the pricing FAQ.
Trends MCP is not an SEO suite. It does not rank keywords, crawl sites, or score backlinks. Crowning it "cheapest SEO tool" would be false.
When $19 of Trends MCP is the better spend
Ubersuggest wins keyword research, site audit, rank tracking, backlinks, and an SEO MCP that talks to those same reports. The advertised floor is $29 a month. The MCP is OAuth into that account, not a separate request meter.
Trends MCP wins when the buyer wants live multi-source demand inside an agent, priced per request. pricing.md, last updated 27 August 2026, lists Free at $0 for 100 requests per month, Starter at $19 for 1,000, Pro at $49 for 5,000, and Business at $199 for 25,000. Annual billing saves 20%. The same markdown says every plan includes the same data sources. Keyword alerts: Pro 50, Business 250.
The HTML pricing page, fetched 27 August 2026, adds Free caps the markdown mirror does not print: "Top 10 trends" and "12 months of history" on Free, versus "All trends" and "Full history" on paid plans. HTML markets "35+ data sources" on every card. docs.md's keyword-source table lists 15 rows (google search through steam; no python row). The live get_top_trends table in that markdown lists 24 feed names, including TikTok Trending Hashtags by Category. The MCP get_top_trends schema lists 23 feeds and omits that TikTok-by-category type. The MCP get_growth schema still lists python. Cite the split. Do not flatten those counts to 15, 16, 23, 24, or 35+.
Paid plans collect a card at checkout and start a 7-day trial, charged on day 8 if the subscription stays. Free needs no card. One successful API or MCP call is one request. get_growth counts once per source plus keyword, with every percent_growth window included. get_top_trends counts per feed and per page. Default limit is 25, max 200. Failed calls are free. Hitting the quota returns 429 until reset; there are no overage charges. The HTML footer printed 9,235,873 API calls served.
Cursor setup for Trends MCP uses a different host and a Bearer header, from docs.md dated 27 August 2026:
"trends-mcp": {
"url": "https://api.trendsmcp.ai/mcp",
"transport": "http",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" }
}
Docs keep two hosts that are not interchangeable: https://api.trendsmcp.ai/mcp for Bearer keys, and https://www.trendsmcp.ai/mcp for Claude.ai Connectors OAuth only. Copying Ubersuggest's single OAuth URL pattern onto Trends MCP will miss the Bearer host. The Cursor-specific install is on MCP server for Cursor. Google-only wiring lives on Google Trends MCP for Cursor. Keyword-research context for SEO teams sits on SEO keyword research. Semrush's own sticker ladder is on Semrush pricing.
For a Cursor user who needs TikTok hashtags, Google Search growth, and Reddit beside each other, Starter at $19 is the priced alternative to Ubersuggest at $29. That user still needs Ubersuggest, Semrush, or Ahrefs for positions and links. Pairing Starter with a cheap rank tracker is a stack. Replacing Ubersuggest with Trends MCP is a category error.
FAQ
How much does Ubersuggest cost per month?
The live comparison strip on 27 August 2026 advertises $29 to $99 per month. Neil Patel's 8 July 2026 blog still maps that range to Individual $29, Business $49, and Enterprise/Agency $99. The live table does not print those names. Add-ons are +$5 per month each. Check the number at checkout; Ubersuggest documents geolocated pricing.
Is there a free trial, and is lifetime refundable?
Monthly plans include a one-time 7-day free trial. Lifetime purchases are final and non-refundable, per the pricing FAQ accessed 27 August 2026. The FAQ recommends using the monthly trial before buying lifetime. Accounts can be canceled or downgraded to a free account at any time.
Does Ubersuggest have an API or an MCP?
The pricing FAQ says there are no API access plans at the moment. The official MCP page, fetched the same day, lists 42 SEO tools behind OAuth at https://ubersuggest-mcp.neilpatelapi.com/mcp. A vendor blog still says "over 37" tools. There is also a ChatGPT app for keyword research. None of those pages publish a REST price list.
How does Ubersuggest pricing compare with Semrush and Ahrefs?
On sticker price, Ubersuggest's advertised $29 floor sits under Semrush SEO ($139 monthly / $117.33 annually) and Ahrefs Lite ($129). Semrush MCP starts on Starter ($199 monthly). Ahrefs lists MCP Server from Lite. Ubersuggest tracks 125 to 300 keywords per project weekly versus Semrush SEO's 500 daily and Ahrefs Lite's 750 weekly. Those suites still win on index branding and crawl volume.
Can Trends MCP replace Ubersuggest for SEO reporting?
No. Trends MCP has no rank tracker, site audit, or backlink graph. It serves live trend series and ranked boards through get_trends, get_growth, and get_top_trends. Use it for demand across Google, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, and Reddit. Keep Ubersuggest for keyword SEO, audits, and the 42-tool SEO MCP.
