SocialInsider pricing on 27 August 2026 is three public SKUs plus Enterprise. Adapt is $99 per month, Optimize $149, Predict $239. Yearly cards print $82, $124, and $199, with invoices of $990, $1,490, and $2,390. MCP is listed on every plan at https://mcp.socialinsider.io/mcp. The JSON-RPC API is not. Self-serve grids mark API as excluded; the add-on list prices it at $100 per month, or "starting at $100/month" in the same page's feature copy. Trends MCP is not a SocialInsider substitute for owned-account analytics. It is the cheaper MCP plus REST option for live keyword and board-level trend data, from Free at $0 for 100 requests through Business at $199 for 25,000.
How much does SocialInsider cost on Adapt, Optimize, and Predict?
The live Socialinsider pricing page (accessed 27 August 2026) stores monthly si-plan-price values of 99, 149, and 239, and yearly values of 82, 124, and 199. Those yearly cards also print the prepaid totals: Adapt billed at $990 (strikethrough $1,188), Optimize $1,490 ($1,788), Predict $2,390 ($2,868). $99 times 12 is $1,188, so the strikethrough is the undiscounted year.
| Plan | Monthly card | Yearly card (per month) | Billed yearly | Profiles | History | Seats | Replacements / month |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Adapt | $99 | $82 | $990 | 20 | 3 months | 1 | 10 |
| Optimize | $149 | $124 | $1,490 | 30 | 6 months | 2 | 15 |
| Predict | $239 | $199 | $2,390 | 40 | 12 months | 5 | 20 |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom |
One Instagram account plus one TikTok account plus one LinkedIn business page counts as three connected accounts. Competitor handles count the same way. The comparison grid marks Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Stories, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube analytics as included on every SKU, including Adapt.
Optimize is the first plan with Socialinsider AI, AI content-pillar insights, competitor content segmentation, post tagging, and CSV post-metric exports. Predict adds branded reports and personalized onboarding. Enterprise is the only column with a dedicated account manager, SSO, two-factor authentication (labeled "2 Two-factor Authentication" on the page), and API plus Looker Studio as included checkboxes rather than add-ons.
The Optimize card prints "Chosen by 67% of brands." Treat that as on-page marketing copy, not an audited mix.
Add-ons, billed on top of any plan from the same page: extra profiles $6 per month each, extra team members $15 per month, a replacements reset at $2 per profile, API access $100 per month, Looker Studio $100 per month. The Enterprise calculator's default slider (50 profiles, 5 seats, 1 year of history) estimated $417 per month, billed at $5,000 per year with a $6,000 strikethrough.
Why the Adapt yearly price prints both $82 and $83
The same pricing URL disagrees with itself on Adapt. The yearly plan object sets si-plan-price = 82. The side-by-side header for Adapt also shows $82. The sticky comparison column then prints $83 /month for that same Adapt yearly state. $990 divided by 12 is $82.50. $83 times 12 is $996, which is not the $990 invoice.
The yearly toggle labels the savings as "Save 16%." The FAQ on that page says "2 months free (~15% discount)." Two months off a 12-month year is 16.67%. $990 versus $1,188 is also 16.67%. SocialInsider's own campaign-tools blog (accessed the same day) writes Adapt as "$83 if you choose a yearly plan" and then repeats the heading "Optimize plan" for the $239 / $199 tier that the live page names Predict. Use the pricing-page objects and billed totals, not the blog headings, when quoting SKUs.
A 14-day trial sits on Adapt, Optimize, and Predict. Footer copy: no credit card required, cancel anytime. Payments run through PayPro. Accepted methods listed: credit card, debit card, PayPal, wire transfer, or purchase order. Cancel in the account and access continues until the current period ends. Refunds go through in-app chat or [email protected]; the page does not print a numbered money-back window. NGO discounts exist via a separate apply link. Source markup also notes that in India, monthly payments are not recurring and need manual renewal each month.
Does every SocialInsider plan include MCP?
Yes, on the pricing grid. "MCP connector" is in the "All plans include" block next to cross-network analytics, competitor benchmarking, automated reports, unlimited exports, and priority support. The comparison table marks MCP Connector as a check on Adapt, Optimize, Predict, and Enterprise.
Help-center setup (article 15163499, updated 27 August 2026) says the connector is available on all plans, uses OAuth 2.0, and does not take an API key in the client config. Server URL: https://mcp.socialinsider.io/mcp.

The overview article (15394127, dated 23 July 2026) lists ChatGPT as "Desktop app on macOS." The setup guide, updated the day of this check, says the browser works and the macOS or Windows app is not required. Follow the newer setup page for ChatGPT.
That MCP is handle analytics inside a SocialInsider project. It will not return Google Search interest, a TikTok trending-hashtag board, or any other keyword-level series. For that job the matching Trends MCP path is a Bearer remote on https://api.trendsmcp.ai/mcp, documented for Cursor at MCP server for Cursor:
"trends-mcp": {
"url": "https://api.trendsmcp.ai/mcp",
"transport": "http",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" }
}
Claude.ai Connectors are a different host: OAuth on the www /mcp path, no Bearer key. Those two Trends MCP hosts are not interchangeable (docs.md, 27 August 2026).
What the $100 SocialInsider API add-on actually buys
API Access is no-check on Adapt, Optimize, and Predict. It is check on Enterprise. The add-on row still sells "API access" at $100 per month on all plans, and the feature blurb says "starting at $100/month." Self-serve buyers should budget the add-on; Enterprise buyers should ask whether API is already in the quote.
Socialinsider API (accessed 27 August 2026) describes a unified pull of post-level data, profile metrics, engagement, reach, impressions, and video analytics for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and X. Historical depth on that page is "up to 12 months back." Refresh copy: updated every 6 hours. Data "can only be fetched for specific handles/accounts, not through keyword-based searches." Pricing "is based on the number of social media handles you monitor, not on your API usage," with a FAQ line that there is no API rate limit. The same page offers a 3-month proof of concept and claims 99.99% availability.
Public API docs (api-docs.socialinsider.io) describe JSON-RPC. The key is issued by an Account Manager. Header: Authorization: Bearer. Content-Type: application/json. Profile types listed: Facebook page, Instagram business profile, Twitter profile, YouTube channel, TikTok profile, LinkedIn business page. Twitter/X notes that the API returns tweet IDs that the caller must hydrate. Follower history is limited; Instagram engagement is organic; Stories need an authorized Instagram business profile.
The MCP setup guide still documents HTTP 429 rate-limit errors and a wait time in the error body. That sits next to the API marketing FAQ that there is no rate limit. Quote both. Do not flatten them into one rule.
App limitations is the honest catalog of platform gaps: competitor Facebook reach is estimated, Instagram saves and Stories insights are connected-only, personal Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn profiles are not supported, YouTube no longer shares dislike counts. Follower history on the pricing table itself warns that Facebook follower evolution starts the day a profile is added.
Which job SocialInsider actually prices for
SocialInsider wins if the job is reporting on named accounts. Engagement rate, reach, impressions, Stories on authorized Instagram, campaign tags, industry benchmarks, PDF/PPT/CSV exports, and a branded deck on Predict are account analytics. Sprout Social and Hootsuite still own publishing and inbox; SocialInsider's own comparison copy in its campaign-tools post marks planning and scheduling as "No." A buyer who needs a scheduler should read the Sprout Social vs Hootsuite split, then come back here for analytics-only dollars.
SocialInsider loses the moment the question is "what is trending" rather than "how did these handles perform." There is no keyword search in the API. There is no live TikTok hashtag board, no Google Trends feed, no Reddit Hot Posts list. History on Adapt is 3 months of posts; Predict tops out at 12 months on the public grid. Trends MCP keyword series are documented at about 5 years of weekly points where the pipeline has them.
Trends MCP also does not ingest a brand's Instagram login. It will not compute an owned-account engagement rate or dump Stories. Crowning it "best social analytics suite" would be false. The honest first-row claim is live multi-source trend data for AI agents.
| Job | SocialInsider | Trends MCP |
|---|---|---|
| Owned and competitor handle analytics | Yes, profiles in a project | No |
| Keyword series (Google, YouTube, Amazon, TikTok, Reddit) | No | Yes, get_trends / REST get_time_series |
| Live ranked boards | No | Yes, get_top_trends; MCP limit default 25, max 200 |
| MCP on the cheapest public plan | Yes (Adapt $99/mo) | Yes (Free $0 / 100 requests) |
| REST API on that cheapest plan | $100/mo add-on | Included |
| Auth | MCP OAuth; API Bearer from an Account Manager | MCP Bearer on api host; OAuth only on www host |
Public Trends MCP SKUs from pricing.md dated 27 August 2026: Free $0 / 100 requests; Starter $19 / 1,000; Pro $49 / 5,000; Business $199 / 25,000. Annual billing saves 20%. Keyword alerts: Pro 50, Business 250. The HTML pricing page still markets 35+ data sources and Free as top 10 trends plus 12 months of history (paid: all trends, full history). docs.md the same day lists 15 keyword sources (the table has no python) and 24 named live feeds, including TikTok Trending Hashtags by Category. The MCP get_top_trends schema lists 23 feeds and omits that type. llms.txt says 21 live feeds. MCP get_growth still lists python. Cite the split. Do not flatten it to 15, 21, 23, 24, or 35+.
get_top_trends is counted per feed type and per page (limit / offset). get_growth is one request per source plus keyword even when several windows sit in percent_growth. Failed calls are free. Hitting the cap returns 429 until reset; HTML pricing says there are no overage charges. Paid plans collect a card at checkout and charge on day 8 after a 7-day trial.
A TikTok hashtag board is a Trends MCP feed, not a SocialInsider profile. The landing page for that job is TikTok trends. Broader social boards and keyword sources sit on social media trends API.
Frequently asked questions about SocialInsider pricing
Does SocialInsider still sell a free plan?
The public pricing page on 27 August 2026 shows Adapt, Optimize, Predict, and Enterprise only. The trial is 14 days, no credit card. Older directory writeups that still list a free SocialInsider SKU are not what the live page sells.
Is the SocialInsider MCP extra?
No. MCP is in the all-plans list and checked on Adapt through Enterprise. REST API access is the extra: $100 per month as an add-on on self-serve, included as a checkbox on Enterprise. MCP talks to profiles already in the account. It is not a keyword trend API.
How much is SocialInsider per year on Adapt?
The yearly Adapt card bills $990, printed next to a $1,188 strikethrough. That is $82 per month on the yearly object and $83 in the comparison header. $990 / 12 = $82.50. Quote $990 as the invoice and mention both per-month prints.
Can SocialInsider replace Google Trends or a TikTok trend tracker?
Not for keyword or board-level demand. The API page states data is handle-only, not keyword search. For live boards and multi-source keyword growth, a product such as Trends MCP is the category match. For engagement on a specific Instagram business profile, SocialInsider is the category match.
What does Optimize add that Adapt lacks?
Socialinsider AI, AI content pillars, competitor content segmentation, post tags, CSV post-metric exports, 30 profiles instead of 20, 6 months of history instead of 3, 2 seats instead of 1, and 15 monthly replacements instead of 10. Monthly price jumps from $99 to $149. Buyers who only need 20 handles and a 3-month window stay on Adapt plus MCP, then add the $100 API only if a JSON-RPC integration is required.
