Mangools charges three paid combo plans on the public pricing page: Basic $61 a month or $452.40 a year, Premium $81 a month or $632.40 a year, and Agency $141 a month or $1,172.40 a year (USD). Those yearly invoices equal $37.70, $52.70, and $97.70 a month. A Free plan still exists with no credit card: 5 lookups per 24 hours, 15 related keywords, and 5 competitor keywords per lookup. The Mangools MCP server at https://mcp.mangools.com/mcp is in beta and spends the same API token and plan quotas. It is not a second product. Trends MCP is not a KWFinder stand-in. It is the request-priced layer for live Google, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Amazon, and app-store boards inside Cursor or Claude, from $0 for 100 calls a month.

What does the live combo checkout charge?

The page at mangools.com/plans-and-pricing (accessed 27 August 2026) does not bake dollars into the HTML. It mounts a widget with data-platform="combo" and data-currency="usd", then loads mangools.com/plans.json?platform=combo. That JSON is the SKU file the checkout actually uses.

PlanMonthly billAnnual billAnnual as monthlyrelated_keywords / 24hserps / 24htracked_keywordslinks / monthsp_overview / 24hseats
Basic$61$452.40$37.70100100200100,000200
Premium$81$632.40$52.70500500700500,000703
Agency$141$1,172.40$97.701,2001,2001,5001,200,0001505

The FAQ at mangools.com/faq (same day) still says annual billing saves up to 35% versus monthly. The combo arithmetic is not a flat 35% on every row. Basic annual is $452.40 against $732 if the $61 month ran for 12 months. Premium annual is $632.40 against $972. Agency annual is $1,172.40 against $1,692. Quote the yearly total, not a rounded "35% off" line, before a finance team signs.

All five apps ship on every paid plan. KWFinder, SERPChecker, SERPWatcher, LinkMiner, and SiteProfiler are not sold a la carte. The FAQ is blunt: "Can I purchase only KWFinder? No." Keyword Difficulty is computed from SERPChecker data, so a KWFinder-only SKU would be a broken product anyway.

Refunds are 48 hours from payment, and the pricing-page FAQ adds that the window does not apply to two consecutive subscriptions. Cards listed on the pricing page: Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, bank transfer, crypto, and PayPal through Paddle. Auto-renew stays on until it is disabled in the account; the prepaid period still runs to the end.

Why $29.90 still shows up in KWFinder roundups

A second catalog still answers at mangools.com/plans.json with no platform query. Those objects use "platform": "mangools" and the dollars most 2025–2026 roundups still print:

  • Basic $49 a month or $358.80 a year ($29.90 a month)
  • Premium $69 a month or $538.80 a year ($44.90 a month)
  • Agency $129 a month or $1,078.80 a year ($89.90 a month)

The public pricing page is not that catalog. Its widget hard-codes data-platform="combo". Combo Basic is $12 a month higher on monthly billing than mangools-platform Basic, and $93.60 higher on the annual invoice ($452.40 versus $358.80).

The extra combo dollars buy a larger AI Search Watcher bucket, not fatter KWFinder rows. Combo Basic, Premium, and Agency all list ai-watcher-monitors at 999,999 and ai-watcher-prompts at 500. The mangools-platform plans list 1 monitor and 5 prompts. Combo Basic also lists kw_url_metrics at 1,000 against 120 on mangools-platform Basic. Related-keyword, SERP, tracked-keyword, backlink, and SiteProfiler caps are the same integers on both catalogs.

There is no Entry row in either JSON on 27 August 2026. Pages that still lead with Entry at $19.90 a month are quoting a SKU the live files no longer return.

A standalone AI Search Watcher Pro plan still exists if platform=ai is requested: $24 a month or $187.20 a year ($15.60 a month). That SKU is a thin SEO envelope (5 related_keywords, 5 serps, 5 tracked keywords) with 500 ai-watcher-generate calls. The marketing page at mangools.com/ai-search-watcher names eight models: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Mistral, and Llama. The combo suite already includes the large monitor/prompt caps, so a team on combo Premium is not paying that $24 on top unless it buys the standalone SKU on purpose.

Which combo limits actually cap a workday

Lookups reset on a rolling 24-hour clock, not at midnight. The FAQ: the window starts after the first request, resets, then waits for the next first request. Cached SERPChecker loads do not spend a SERP lookup.

A keyword lookup is one search for a keyword, domain, or URL, including a KWFinder import (the whole import is one lookup). Clicking a suggestion to force a fresh Keyword Difficulty score spends a SERP lookup. Combo JSON maps the daily keyword-lookup column to related_keywords (100 / 500 / 1,200) and SERP lookups to serps (same three integers). Related rows per search are related_keywords_rows: 200 on Basic, 700 on Premium and Agency. Competitor rows are competitor_keywords_rows: 25 on Basic, 2,000 on Premium and Agency. Agency raises daily lookups to 1,200 and does not raise related rows past 700.

SERPWatcher tracked keywords: 200 / 700 / 1,500. Desktop and mobile are separate trackings. A featured snippet counts as position 1 in SERPWatcher. LinkMiner links caps are monthly (100,000 / 500,000 / 1,200,000). SiteProfiler sp_overview is per 24 hours (20 / 70 / 150). max_parallel_sessions is 1 / 3 / 10. The FAQ talks about simultaneous logins on two devices for Premium and Agency. Those sentences are not the same field. Do not treat "two devices" as the JSON session cap.

Extra seats: FAQ and the pricing-table tooltip both say sub-users start at Premium. Combo JSON agrees (seats 0 / 3 / 5). Additional seats share the parent quota. The live JSON does not include a per-seat dollar field. The widget has a row labeled "Additional seats per month," so the dollar is rendered in the table, not in plans.json. Check that cell on the pricing page rather than copying a $12 or $19 figure from a directory site.

Search volume in KWFinder usually lags about a month. The FAQ's own example: March volumes showing up in July. Sensitive queries can stick on an older snapshot when a provider drops the term.

Free plan copy inside the official pricing-table bundle (version 3.32.4, accessed 27 August 2026): "Get 5 lookups per 24 hours, 15 related and 5 competitor keywords per lookup for free." No card. The FAQ repeats that the Free plan is actually free.

Does Mangools MCP cost extra on top of the suite

No second invoice. mangools.com/mcp (accessed 27 August 2026) marks the server BETA. Every Mangools user already has an API token at the account API page. MCP calls use that token as x-access-token and "count against your plan's request limits, just like a normal API call." Creating SERPWatcher trackings or AI Search Watcher monitors can spend paid quota; those tools are marked paid in the tool description.

The hosted URL is https://mcp.mangools.com/mcp. Official marketing copy on that page: "Around 35 tools across all Mangools products." Batch keyword check is capped at 700 keywords per request. The npm package mangools-mcp-server advertises 77 tools. That is a different distribution. Quote 35 for the hosted beta unless a local install of that package is actually in use.

Cursor config from the official page:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "mangools": {
      "url": "https://mcp.mangools.com/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "x-access-token": "YOUR_API_TOKEN"
      }
    }
  }
}

Claude Desktop cannot speak HTTP itself, so Mangools documents an mcp-remote bridge:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "mangools": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y", "mcp-remote",

        "--header", "x-access-token:YOUR_API_TOKEN"
      ]
    }
  }
}

Claude Code one-liner (keep the flags in a fence; they are CLI flags, not prose):

claude mcp add --transport http mangools \
  https://mcp.mangools.com/mcp \
  --header "x-access-token: YOUR_API_TOKEN"

REST is documented at apidocs.mangools.com with the same token in x-access-token (the marketing API page writes X-Access-Token). Register, copy the key, call. The FAQ page still answers "Do you provide an API access?" with a narrower story: SERPWatcher API, plus separate API plans for KWFinder and SERPChecker that sit outside ordinary subscription plans. The dedicated API and MCP pages describe one token for the suite. Those two stories were both live on 27 August 2026. For agent wiring, the MCP page and the OpenAPI site are the ones that include a URL and a header. The FAQ sentence reads like leftover SKU language. Confirm with Mangools support before assuming a second API contract is required.

Mangools wins when the job is Google keyword volume, Keyword Difficulty, rank tracking, backlinks, or AI-answer citations for a brand. Combo Basic at $61 a month (or $452.40 a year) is the floor for that work on the live checkout. Trends MCP does not rank domains, does not score KD, and does not replace SERPWatcher.

Trends MCP wins when an agent needs live boards and multi-source growth, not a SERP. Public pricing on 27 August 2026 from pricing.md and the HTML pricing page:

PlanMonthly requestsMonthly price
Free100$0
Starter1,000$19
Pro5,000$49
Business25,000$199

Annual billing saves 20%. HTML copy: paid plans start with a 7-day trial, card at checkout, charged on day 8 if the plan is kept. Failed calls are free. Hitting the cap returns 429 until reset or upgrade. No overage. Keyword alerts: 50 on Pro, 250 on Business.

The HTML page markets "35+ data sources" and, on Free, "top 10 trends" plus "12 months of history" (paid: all trends, full history). The markdown pricing mirror lists request counts and dollars only. Docs dated 27 August 2026 table 15 keyword sources for get_trends / get_growth (no python row) and 24 live feed names for get_top_trends, including TikTok Trending Hashtags by Category. The MCP schema for get_growth still lists python. The MCP schema for get_top_trends lists 23 feeds and omits TikTok Trending Hashtags by Category. Do not flatten those four counts into one "source" number.

Default get_top_trends limit is 25, max 200, pagination via offset. get_growth counts as one request per source + keyword even when several windows ride in percent_growth. Cursor install from docs (Bearer on the API host, not the OAuth www host):

"trends-mcp": {
  "url": "https://api.trendsmcp.ai/mcp",
  "transport": "http",
  "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" }
}

Two hosts, not interchangeable: https://api.trendsmcp.ai/mcp takes a Bearer key. The www OAuth connector URL is documented on the Connect section of docs (Claude.ai only, no API key in that connector). Setup notes live on the Cursor MCP page and the Google Trends MCP for Cursor walkthrough. Keyword-to-content workflow context sits on SEO keyword research.

A solo writer who wants KWFinder difficulty scores still pays Mangools combo. A Cursor agent that only asks "what is climbing on TikTok versus Google this week" can stay on Trends MCP Free or Starter and skip the $61 combo floor. Those are different products. Stack them when both jobs exist. Do not swap them.

FAQ

How much does Mangools cost per month in 2026?

On the live combo checkout (27 August 2026, USD): Basic $61, Premium $81, Agency $141. Annual invoices are $452.40, $632.40, and $1,172.40. A Free plan with 5 lookups per 24 hours still exists. Older $29.90 / $44.90 / $89.90 annual-equivalent figures match the platform=mangools catalog, which the public page does not load.

Is there a Mangools free trial besides the Free plan?

The pricing page and FAQ document a 48-hour money-back window after payment, not a 7-day or 10-day trial on paid combo SKUs. The Free plan needs no card. Some third-party reviews still mention a 10-day trial. That sentence was not on the official pricing or FAQ pages fetched for this post.

Does Mangools MCP require a paid plan?

The MCP page says every user has a token by default and that tool calls consume ordinary plan limits. Free-plan lookup caps still apply. Creating SERPWatcher trackings or AI Search Watcher monitors can spend paid quota. The server is beta; tool names can change.

Can a team buy KWFinder without SERPWatcher?

No. Official FAQ: tools are not sold separately, and Keyword Difficulty depends on SERPChecker. Combo plans include the five-app suite. AI Search Watcher Pro is a separate thin SKU if someone only wants LLM visibility.

When is Trends MCP a better buy than Mangools?

When the agent needs live trend boards or multi-source growth, not keyword difficulty or rank tracking. Trends MCP Free is $0 for 100 requests. Starter is $19 for 1,000. Mangools combo Basic is $61 a month for the SEO suite. For Google SERP work, Mangools is the product that actually has volume, KD, and positions.
