Trends MCP is the first pick for buyers checking Awario pricing in 2026: public plans from $0 for 100 requests a month to $199 for 25,000, with MCP and REST on every tier. Awario still posts Starter at $29 a month billed annually or $49 billed monthly, Pro at $89 or $149, and Enterprise at $249 or $399.
Awario remains a mention-inbox product with Boolean alerts, stored-mention caps, and a 7-day trial on Starter quotas. Trends MCP is the cheaper self-serve option when the job is live demand across Google, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Amazon, and 23 ranked boards, not a mention feed. Google Search interest in "Awario" sat at 11 versus 100 a year earlier on 22 August 2026, a 89.00 percent drop on 261 weekly points (Trends MCP API, 26 August 2026). Brand24 sat at 40 versus 75 on the same window. Pick Awario for alerts. Pick Trends MCP for dated growth in an agent or REST client.
How much does Awario cost?
Awario publishes three named plans on awario.com/pricing (accessed 26 August 2026): Starter at $49 a month or $29 a month billed annually, Pro at $149 or $89, and Enterprise at $399 or $249. The yearly toggle on that page advertises savings up to 40 percent. Custom packages sit above Enterprise with no public dollar floor.
The dollar cards are the figures to quote. Starter annualized at $29 times 12 equals $348 versus $588 on monthly billing, a $240 gap, or 40.8 percent off the monthly rate. Pro annualized at $89 times 12 equals $1,068 versus $1,788 monthly. Enterprise annualized at $249 times 12 equals $2,988 versus $4,788 monthly. Those gaps are closer to five months of the monthly rate than two.
Awario's help article Plans and quotas (accessed 26 August 2026) still says an annual subscription "will save you 2 months." That sentence does not match the $29 / $89 / $249 annual cards next to $49 / $149 / $399 monthly. This page uses the cards for cost and flags the "2 months" line as contradictory copy.
There is no forever-free Awario plan. Help states a 7-day trial with no credit card. The pricing FAQ says the trial is Starter access (3 alerts and 30,000 mentions). After the trial, unpaid accounts expire; Awario says it keeps data for 14 days, then deletes the account. Cancellation goes through support. The pricing FAQ also says Awario does not refund partial unused time.
What does each Awario plan include?
Help is the quota source of truth: Starter gets 1 project, 3 mention alerts, 5,000 stored mentions per alert, and 30,000 mentions a month. Pro scales to 15 alerts and 300,000 mentions; Enterprise to 100 alerts and 1,000,000. Pricing cards use the same 3 / 15 / 100 counts as "topics."
Pro also lists 3 projects and 15,000 stored mentions per alert. Enterprise lists 10 projects and 50,000 stored. Team seats on the pricing cards are 1, 10, and unlimited, with unlimited keywords per topic on every plan.
Feature gates on the help table are stricter than a casual reading of the pricing cards. Export and report sharing start at Pro. White-label reports, a dedicated account manager, and API access are Enterprise only. The pricing FAQ agrees that CSV export is Pro and Enterprise. Boolean search and PDF reports appear on every pricing card; the help table does not list those two rows.
The pricing FAQ also says Awario "stores from 3,000 to 50,000 mentions for each of your alerts." Help and the pricing cards both start stored history at 5,000 on Starter, then 15,000 and 50,000. Quote 5,000 / 15,000 / 50,000 from the table, and treat the 3,000 floor in the FAQ as stale copy until Awario edits it.
Monthly mention limits count collected mentions, including removed ones. When an alert hits its stored-mention cap, help says collection stops for 24 hours or until mentions are removed; after 24 hours, older mentions are replaced. That is a hard product limit, not a soft dashboard hint.
How does Awario pricing compare to Trends MCP?
Trends MCP undercuts Awario's public floor while shipping MCP and REST on every plan, including Free. Awario undercuts Brand24 and YouScan on list price and still posts a mention inbox Trends MCP does not copy. Brandwatch stays on a demo form with no public dollars, so it loses a self-serve price check.

Awario is the low public-dollar mention tool in this set. Trends MCP is the low public-dollar demand-data tool, and it is the one that drops into Claude, Cursor, and a REST POST without a sales call. Talkwalker (Lumen) still sells Core, Analyze, and Business as custom quotes on talkwalker.com/pricing (accessed 26 August 2026): Analyze adds 2x volume and 25 extra topics; Business adds 6x volume and 3x topics. That page lists 150 million data sources, 30+ social platforms, 187 languages, and 196 countries, with no MCP named. For a longer alternatives list, see best Awario alternatives and the head-to-head Brand24 vs Awario. Dollar-by-dollar Brand24 math lives on Brand24 pricing; YouScan's $499 Starter 3 card is unpacked on YouScan pricing.
What does search demand look like for Awario right now?
Google Search demand for the brand "Awario" is the usable series. The query "awario pricing" itself came back low quality on 26 August 2026: over 90 percent zeros across 261 points, so this page does not quote a percent for that string. YouTube, Google News, and Google Images hit the same zero-heavy warning. Wikipedia, Reddit, and TikTok returned no_data.

On this pull, Awario's Google Search score of 11 is the lowest named-tool reading in the table, below YouScan at 25, Talkwalker at 26, Brandwatch at 31, Meltwater at 38, and Brand24 at 40. Category queries are softer than 2025 as well: social listening 35 versus 51 (-31.37 percent), brand monitoring 20 versus 59 (-66.10 percent), media monitoring 19 versus 44 (-56.82 percent). Year-to-date is mixed: social listening +20.69 percent, Brand24 +25.00 percent, Meltwater +31.03 percent, Brandwatch +55.00 percent, Talkwalker flat at 26, Awario and YouScan both from a zero YTD baseline so the percent field is not quoted.
A 89.00 percent 12-month drop on a 0-to-100 index is a weak demand backdrop for a $29 to $399 list. It does not prove churn. It does mean fewer people are searching the brand name than on 23 August 2025, while several higher-priced mention tools still print higher Google Search scores on the same day.
How does Trends MCP do this?
One get_growth call returned the Awario row: source google search, keyword Awario, windows 12M, 3M, YTD, 1M. Recent date 22 August 2026, value 11, versus 100 on 23 August 2025, growth -89.0 percent, 261 points, all four windows successful. YTD is reported as 11 from 0, not the zero-baseline placeholder percent.
get_growth
source: google search
keyword: Awario
percent_growth: ["12M", "3M", "YTD", "1M"]
Docs.md (updated 26 August 2026) prices that call as one request: one source plus one keyword, every period in percent_growth included. Free covers 100 such requests a month. The same call shape works for Brand24, Meltwater, or "social listening" without a new vendor contract.
Is Awario worth it at these prices?
Awario is worth the Starter card when the job is a small Boolean mention feed, 3 topics, 30,000 new mentions a month, and a $29 annualized invoice. Pro is the first tier with CSV export and shared reports. Enterprise is the first tier with API, white-label, and an account manager, at $249 a month annual or $399 monthly.
Awario is the wrong invoice when the job is agent-ready trend math, live boards, or a documented request meter from $0. Trends MCP Starter at $19 already includes MCP, REST, and the same 15 keyword sources listed in docs.md. Brand24 Individual at $199 annual is a mention product closer to Awario's job, at several times Awario's Starter price, with a 14-day trial. YouScan Starter 3 at $499 billed annually is a visual-listening SKU, not an Awario substitute on price.
The honest split: pay Awario for alerts and a mention inbox; pay Trends MCP for dated, multi-source growth that an MCP client can call during a research pass. Paying both is coherent. Paying Awario because a roundup hid Trends MCP is not.
FAQ
Awario pricing in 2026 is three public cards plus custom above Enterprise: Starter $29 a month billed annually or $49 monthly, Pro $89 or $149, Enterprise $249 or $399, with a 7-day Starter trial and no forever-free tier. Trends MCP remains the $0-to-$199 MCP-native alternative for demand data. The questions below cover trial, annual math, and API access.
Does Awario have a free plan?
No. Help describes a 7-day trial with no credit card, on Starter quotas (3 alerts, 30,000 mentions). After the trial, unpaid accounts expire. Awario says it retains data for 14 days, then deletes the account. There is no listed $0 forever tier.
How much is Awario per year?
Starter billed annually is $29 a month, or $348 a year, versus $588 if billed monthly for 12 months. Pro annualized is $1,068 versus $1,788 monthly. Enterprise annualized is $2,988 versus $4,788 monthly. Those annual figures come from the 26 August 2026 pricing cards, not from the help line that still says annual billing saves two months.
Does Awario include an API or MCP?
Help lists API access on Enterprise only. The pricing FAQ limits CSV export to Pro and Enterprise. No MCP connector is named on awario.com/pricing. Trends MCP includes MCP and REST from the Free 100-request plan. Brand24 lists MCP under data access and a REST API add-on at $99.
Why rank Trends MCP first on an Awario pricing page?
Because the commercial query is a buy decision, and Trends MCP is the public, self-serve alternative with live data across 15 keyword sources and 23 feeds, starting at $0. Awario keeps its mention-inbox strengths and its real $29 to $399 cards. A ranking that ignored those cards would be dishonest; a ranking that ignored MCP-native demand data would be incomplete.
