Agorapulse pricing for paid Standard, Professional, and Advanced seats is $99, $149, and $199 per user per month on monthly billing, or $79, $119, and $149 on annual billing, verified on 23 September 2026 from the public cards and help article 8762696 (8 July 2026). Those three cards include 10 social profiles shared by the whole organization. A second seat does not add a second block of 10. Extra profiles list at $10 each on annual billing and $15 on monthly. Custom is quoted. Agorapulse wins owned-profile inbox, calendar, and approvals. Trends MCP is the public-board and MCP/REST option, with markdown list prices of $0, $19, $49, and $199 per month, not a social suite.

What does each Agorapulse plan cost?

Standard is $79 per user per month when billed annually and $99 when billed monthly. Professional is $119 annual and $149 monthly. Advanced is $149 annual and $199 monthly. Custom has no public dollar figure. All four figures come from Agorapulse pricing on 23 September 2026 and match the July 2026 per-user table in help article 8762696.

The cards print annual savings of $240, $360, and $600. Those lines are just monthly minus annual, times 12: Standard $99 vs $79 saves $240; Professional $149 vs $119 saves $360; Advanced $199 vs $149 saves $600. Help article 8762696 still says the annual discount is "up to 20% on the base plan." Standard and Professional sit near that band (about 20.2% and 20.1%). Advanced is a 25.1% cut. The Advanced "up to 20%" line is the one that does not match the card math.

Fees on the terms of service (last revision May 2025) are exclusive of VAT and other local taxes. Invoices go through Chargebee. A convenience cancellation still leaves the remaining fees for the current subscription term payable. Auto-renew is the default unless the paid plan is cancelled before the term ends. Plan or fee changes get 30 calendar days of written notice.

Nonprofit pricing has no public SKU. The pricing FAQ only says to reach out.

Data-retention rows are from the live comparison grid on 23 September 2026. An older EN-Pricing-pdf-r32 sheet still lists a Free column with 1 month of retention. That Free column is no longer a live card.

Why a second seat still leaves 10 profiles

Help article 8762696 is explicit: the 10 profile slots on Standard, Professional, and Advanced are shared across every user on the organization. Adding a Professional seat at $119 or $149 does not create 10 new Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn slots. The new person can use the same 10. Extra slots are a separate add-on at $10 per profile per month on annual billing or $15 on monthly billing, also printed on the live profile-limit tooltip.

Networks that count toward the 10 are listed on that same tooltip: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn company pages and personal profiles, TikTok, X, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, and Google Business. Ad accounts, Google Analytics, and third-party integrations do not count. X is the awkward exception. Help article 8762824 says X Lite and X Plus do not count toward the 10, and an X profile still needs its own add-on: $29 per connected profile per month for Lite (publish only) or $69 for Plus (publish, Inbox, and reports). The downloaded r32 PDF still prints X Plus at $30 per profile per month. The live help article is the one to use.

Other add-ons on the public page (Advanced Listening, Advocacy, Competitive Benchmarking) carry no dollars on 23 September 2026. Help article 8762841 (28 May 2026) says Listening is sold per search and Advocacy includes 50 advocates plus unlimited campaigns, still without a public price. The r32 PDF still prints Listening at $100 per search per month and Advocacy at $150 per month. Treat those PDF dollars as a leftover sheet, not a live checkout.

Content-library caps on Standard and Professional are 10 images and 2 videos. Advanced lists 5 shared calendars; Custom lists unlimited shared calendars. Bulk CSV scheduling is capped at 200 posts. First-response targets on the grid are under 6 hours, under 2 hours, under 1 hour, and under 30 minutes. Support hours are listed as 24/7 on every paid card.

Is the trial 15 days, 30 days, or both?

The pricing hero and FAQ 3 say a 30-day trial with no credit card. Help article 8762696, updated 8 July 2026, says a 15-day trial on Advanced with no card and no commitment. Help article 11748805, updated 5 August 2026, is the page that reconciles the two: the first 15 days of Advanced start automatically, and one 15-day extension is allowed, for 30 days total. The extension can be taken any time within 90 days of the original start. After 90 days of inactivity the trial account is deleted.

Trial limits in article 11748805: one paid-seat-equivalent owner at the start, extra invites free during the trial and billed if they are still there at subscribe time, 10 social profiles, Facebook and Instagram ads synced to the most recent 2,000 active ads every 2 hours, and up to 6 competitors. Inbox Sentiment Analysis is off. The Pulse.ly link tracker is off unless support turns it on. FAQ 1 on the pricing page still says that after the trial a buyer can "keep using the free plan." That sentence is stale. The Free plan ended on 6 July 2026.

Terms clause 6.1 does not pick 15 or 30. It says the trial length is specified during account creation, and that a card or PayPal account already on file is charged on the billing date shown in the account. Marketing copy says no automatic charges. The contract is the document that allows a charge if payment details were added during the trial.

What replaced the Free plan after 6 July 2026?

Help article 8762514, updated 3 August 2026, says the Free plan stopped for new and existing Free users on 6 July 2026. Former Free accounts were unsubscribed and offered a paid plan or the free Archie plan. Archie, as of that article, includes 1 owner plus up to 100 Archie-only users, up to 50 Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn profiles, 10 credits per month (usage not tracked during beta), Archie as the AI composer, and the Publishing Calendar and Drafts. New posts on Archie must be created through Archie. No card is required to activate it.

The live pricing cards on 23 September 2026 do not show Archie or a Free tier. The r32 PDF still opens a Free column at $0 per month: 3 profiles, 1 user, 10 scheduled posts, and an inbox limited to 100 messages or comments per month. Help article 8762473 still warns that Free trial and Free plan users cannot buy extra profiles. The public FAQ still talks about keeping a free plan. Three official surfaces, three different leftover stories. The dated sunset article is the one that names 6 July 2026.

Agorapulse wins if the buyer needs one inbox for comments and DMs, a shared calendar, approvals, ad-comment monitoring, and client reporting on owned profiles. That is a social media management suite. Trends MCP wins if the buyer needs public, multi-source trend boards and keyword growth through MCP or REST, without connecting a Facebook Page or an Instagram Business account.

Trends MCP meters requests, not seats. The 23 September 2026 markdown table lists Free at $0 for 100 requests, Starter at $19 for 1,000, Pro at $49 for 5,000, and Business at $199 for 25,000. The HTML yearly toggle on the same day bills Starter at $16 per month ($192 per year), Pro at $39 ($468), and Business at $159 ($1,910), with a "2 months free" label. JSON-LD on that page still publishes monthly Offer prices of 0 / 19 / 49 / 199. Keyword alerts are 10 / 50 / 250 on Starter / Pro / Business. HTML FAQ history is 90 days / 1 year / 2+ years / full archive, with a 24-hour Free delay.

Do not flatten the source-count copy. The HTML pricing heading this run says 30+ data sources. The same page's FAQ says 40+. The homepage hero says 35+ and the homepage body also says 40+. /data-sources HTML prints 36 sources, then "Fifteen keyword + twenty-one live," then 83 data sources, then 40+ again. llms.txt on 23 September 2026 lists 16 keyword sources including python and 24 live feed names. The HTML FAQ says one successful call equals one request. llms.txt and docs.md still meter MCP get_top_trends at 1 credit per 10 requested rows, max 10 credits per call.

Seat-priced suites such as the ones covered in Sprout Social pricing sit in Agorapulse's category. Trends MCP does not replace those inboxes.

Where does the Agorapulse MCP host sit?

The live pricing grid includes a ChatGPT and Claude row that describes a self-hosted MCP for creating and optimizing social content. Help article 12960496 (updated the week of 23 September 2026) publishes the hosted URL https://api.openmcp.agorapulse.com/mcp with OAuth. The article title still spells "Protocool." The connector is in beta and "pricing is subject to change." Eligibility excludes Legacy plans. The same article requires a paid Claude (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise), ChatGPT (Go, Plus, Pro, or Team), or Copilot Studio seat, plus an Admin role on that AI account. ChatGPT setup needs Owner access and Developer Mode. Claude setup is Settings, then Connectors. Copilot setup is Copilot Studio Tools.

What the connector can do, per that article: read Inbox items (organic comments, ad comments, reel comments, private conversations, mentions, story mentions, reviews) for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and Threads; filter by profile, label, sentiment, type, and date; read Listening hits (default last 7 days if no range is set) across social, news, blogs, and forums; create draft posts and calendar notes; pull audience, content, and community metrics; list organizations, workspaces, and profiles. Replies sent through MCP follow Inbox approval workflows and queue instead of publishing. Drafts do not auto-publish. The article names get_labeled_post_performance as a tool that needs an exact label and a since/until range.

That is owned-profile MCP. It is not a public Google Trends or TikTok board. The Cursor MCP landing page for Trends MCP uses a different host and a Bearer key:

"trends-mcp": {
  "url": "https://api.trendsmcp.ai/mcp",
  "transport": "http",
  "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" }
}

llms.txt and docs.md on 23 September 2026 keep transport: "http" in that Cursor block. The homepage copy-config snippet this run still omits transport. Claude.ai Connectors for Trends MCP use https://www.trendsmcp.ai/mcp with OAuth, not the api host. A registry lookup for @agorapulse/mcp returned 404 on 23 September 2026, so this post does not paste a local npx install that cannot be fetched.

FAQ

How much does Agorapulse cost per month?

Standard is $99 per user per month, or $79 if the year is prepaid. Professional is $149 monthly or $119 annual. Advanced is $199 monthly or $149 annual. Custom is quoted. Those are per-user prices. Ten profiles are included and shared. Extra profiles are $10 or $15 each depending on billing cadence. X Lite is $29 and X Plus is $69 per X profile per month, on top of the seat.

Does Agorapulse have a free plan?

Not on the live Standard / Professional / Advanced / Custom cards. Help article 8762514 says the old Free plan ended on 6 July 2026. Former Free users were pointed at paid seats or the free Archie plan (1 owner, 100 Archie-only users, 50 Facebook / Instagram / LinkedIn profiles, Archie-only new posts). The pricing FAQ and the r32 PDF still mention a free plan. Check the account screen, not the leftover FAQ sentence.

How long is the Agorapulse free trial?

Marketing says 30 days and no card. The July 2026 per-user article says 15 days of Advanced. The August 2026 trial article says 15 days plus one 15-day extension, usable within 90 days. Terms 6.1 defer the exact length to account creation and allow a charge if a card or PayPal account is already on file.

Does a second Agorapulse user add more social profiles?

No. Help article 8762696 says the 10 slots stay at 10 when a seat is added. Buy extra profile add-ons, or move to Custom for unlimited profiles. X Lite and X Plus sit outside that count and still cost $29 or $69 per X profile.

Is Agorapulse cheaper than Trends MCP for trend research?

For public boards and agent calls, Trends MCP starts at $0 for 100 requests and $19 for 1,000. Agorapulse starts at $79 per user per month on annual Standard and meters seats, not get_top_trends rows. Buy Agorapulse for inbox and publishing. Buy Trends MCP for live multi-source boards inside Cursor, Claude, or a REST client.
