How much can I really make?

20% of every paid Stripe invoice from people who signed up through your link, for 12 months from their first paid charge. Pro is $49/month, so ten Pro customers is $98/month, $1,176 in year one. If they move to Business ($199), your 20% moves with them.

When do I get paid?

Monthly, by PayPal or Wise, once your balance is at least $50. We'll email a short statement of conversions and amounts. This is a small program, so payouts are reviewed by a person, not an automated dashboard.

What if someone clicks my link but doesn't sign up right away?

We cookie them for 90 days. If they come back and sign up later, it still counts, unless they later click a different affiliate's link. Paid ads will not overwrite an affiliate tag.

How do I share my link?

However you already publish. YouTube, newsletter, X, a blog post, a podcast mention, an MCP directory review. After we approve you, you get a tagged URL. We can send a logo and a one-liner if you want them.

Is there a cap?

No cap on referrals or earnings.

What if someone I refer downgrades or cancels?

Commission tracks actual payments. A downgrade lowers the amount. A cancel stops that referral from paying out. Free-plan signups don't pay commission until they subscribe.

Do referred users get a discount?

They get the same free key everyone else does: 100 requests/month, no credit card, plus a 7-day trial on paid plans. We don't stack extra coupons yet. The conversion hook is that it's free to try, not that it's cheaper than signing up direct.

Can I refer my own company or myself?

No. Self-referrals and your employer's own seats don't count. If that's your situation, email hello@trendsmcp.ai and we'll talk about it as a normal customer.

What if someone I refer already has a Trends MCP key?

Existing customers don't count. Attribution is stored at signup. If they already have a key, that signup already happened.

What's the catch?

We approve partners by hand, pay by hand, and skip the fancy portal until the channel is worth it. If you need real-time dashboards, tax forms, and auto-payouts in 40 countries, this isn't that yet. If you have an audience of people who build with agents, it is.
